RMH Auxiliary Makes Final Payment

The RMH Auxiliary recently made their final payment for their $110,000 pledge to the RMH Foundation’s for Renewing for Health Campaign. Not only did the Auxiliary present the final payment to the RMH Foundation at a recent board meeting, but they did it a year early.
Several RMH Foundation Board members commented on how impressed they were that the Auxiliary was able to raise the money a year early, and how wonderful it is that RMH has such a supportive Auxiliary.
“The RMH Auxiliary was the first organization to make a pledge to the Renewing for Health Campaign. Their original pledge of $75,000 was increased twice for a total gift of $110,000! To have completed their pledge a full 18 months ahead of schedule is simply amazing, but then again, they are a pretty amazing group of volunteers” noted Karen Jameson, RMH Foundation Director.
“I am very proud of the RMH Auxiliary for paying off their pledge to the Renewing for Health Campaign,” states Eric Toliver, Director of Organizational/Community Development and Volunteer Services. “RMH is so fortunate to have a dedicated group of volunteers supporting its mission. It is my sincere hope that each and every time they walk through the doors of the Women’s Health Center and Front Entrance addition that they feel a tremendous sense of ownership and accomplishment.”
While the Auxiliary has worked very hard to raise money for the Renewing for Health payments, they have also been successful in raising funds for other hospital departments along the way. Earlier this year, they made a $75,000 pledge to go toward the state-of-the-art digital mammography equipment available at RMH.
“My heartfelt appreciation goes out to them for believing in this project from the beginning and for making it a reality through their many hours of service and passion for our hospital,” continued Toliver.
