RMH Foundation
The RMH Foundation is a not-for-profit organization established to promote, develop and enhance the ongoing operation of health care at Richland Memorial Hospital. The efforts of the RMH Foundation provide a base of financial stability for present and future quality health care programs. The RMH Foundation consists of community volunteers working toward a common goal to develop new partnerships and supporters sharing a common vision: Meeting and exceeding current health care needs and providing for future generations to come.
Responsibilities of the:
Board of Directors
Members serve as ambassadors on behalf of Richland Memorial Hospital and may be asked to attend various functions as representatives of RMH and/or the RMH Foundation. The Board generally meets on a monthly basis to receive updates on activities, approve payment of bills, and oversees the Foundation-related activities. Selection of equipment items or other uses of Foundation funds is also the responsibility of the Board of Directors.
Development Council
The Development Council provides an additional linkage between RMH and those it serves by building and strengthening support for RMH. This includes employees, Medical Staff, volunteers and extends to donors and attendees at informational programs sponsored by the Hospital / RMH Foundation.
Six committees within the Development Council assist with communication, education and involvement, as well as providing service and recognition within their respective areas, and also encourage philanthropic support.
