EEG

Richland Memorial Hospital provides Electroencephalogram (EEG) services to help diagnose various conditions associated with the brain and brain activity.  EEG is commonly used to help with diagnosis for epilepsy and other conditions that cause seizures.  It is also used to help find answers for people who have had changes in their level of consciousness or who are experiencing dementia-type symptoms.  EEG is used during sleep studies to diagnose various types of sleep disorders.
