Lymphedema Management
Lymphedema is a disorder that often affects cancer patients after the surgical removal of lymph nodes. The condition causes continuous fluid buildup or infection in limbs where nodes have been taken. Fortunately, therapy for the management of lymphedema is available, and it has been proven to help lymphedema sufferers regain their independence. Richland Memorial Hospital does offer lymphedema management therapy. If you’re suffering from this condition, please discuss this option with your doctor.
