The Emergency Department at Carle Richland Memorial Hospital provides Emergency care and treatment 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Helicopter access is available to various Midwest Trauma Centers. The Emergency Department is located on the South Side of the Hospital building and has entrances to its driveway and drop off canopy from both East Street and Mill Street. The physicians and staff of the Emergency Department are dedicated to providing the highest quality emergency care.
It is our goal at the Carle Richland Memorial Hospital Emergency Department to care for your medical condition within an acceptable time frame. However, please keep in mind that patients requiring critical or urgent care are seen first, which may lengthen wait times for other patients.
The Carle Richland Memorial Hospital Emergency Department has an on-site patient experience survey station. We encourage you to complete one of these surveys at the conclusion of your Emergency Department visit. We value your feedback in helping our services exceed your expectations. We also partner with an independent survey company called Arbor Associates to conduct telephone patient experience surveys. If you receive a call from Arbor Associates we encourage you to take the survey. It is our goal that you will be able to give our Emergency Department a “5” rating on a scale of 1 to 5.
